Renewed GeoConnections
The 2010 Federal Budget announced renewed funding for the GeoConnections program. The Budget provides $11 million in funding over the next two years to continue development of the Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure (CGDI) and to provide consolidated geographic-related information to Canadians via the Internet.

Recovery and Distribution of the Canada Land-use Monitoring Program (CLUMP) Digital Data Archives
This project will make available for free on the Internet a consistent, user-friendly product showing data for entire urban regions across Canada. The project will give professionals and the general public access to reorganised and reintegrated data on land use and land activity for trend analysis and land-management decisions.
