Accessing Saskatchewan's Designated Land information via the CGDI

In partnership with GeoConnections, Saskatchewan Environment will provide industry, academia, governments, and the public with online access to geo-referenced information about Saskatchewan land tracts that, by law or policy, face restrictions on activities. This information will be available through CGDI-endorsed web services.

Custodians of Designated Lands data routinely respond to requests from industry, consultants, researchers, academia, and the public for information about designated and protected areas. When the project is finished, these clients will be directed to CGDI services to access this information. Data custodians and users both will benefit from the efficiencies of online distributed data delivery via the CGDI.
