Preparing and Connecting Multi-scale, High-value, Geological Survey Mapping and Survey Information to the Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure.
An organized data warehouse will be created using data from the Geological Survey of Canada and the Earth Sciences Sector of Natural Resources Canada. This data is used by researchers, scientists and exploration/mining companies across Canada. The tools that will be developed will be commercialised by the participating firms and will keep these activities at the leading edge of data management and Internet access.
