On December 11, 2008, on behalf of GeoConnections / Natural Resources Canada, Public Works and Government Services Canada launched a Request for Proposals (RFP) to develop a best practices guide for sharing sensitive geospatial data over the Internet in Canada, with a focus on supporting programs, services, businesses and/or applications related to land management and sustainable development of the environment.
