Online Survey Seeks Input from Environmental Assessment Community

If you're interested in environmental assessments in Canada, the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (CEAA) wants to hear from you.
The agency is asking environmental assessment (EA) stakeholders to complete a brief survey online. The CEAA intends to use the survey results to help determine the interest and needs in developing a national, collaborative online knowledge system to improve EA.
Among its many possible features, a knowledge system may enhance stakeholders' ability to:
- Better access information related to federal EA projects;
- Provide a vehicle for communicating with colleagues, other stakeholders, and experts; and
- Provide a means of validating information (geographic and non-geographic) being used in EAs.
This survey is an opportunity to influence the way Canada's EA community manages knowledge. The survey will close Friday March 20th, 2009.
