Request for Proposals (RFP): Geomatics Training Guide and Workshops for Aboriginal Communities

On December 22, 2009, GeoConnections issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the development of a geomatics training guide for Aboriginal Communities and to conduct a series of related workshops. The guide and workshops will incorporate the principles of the Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure (CGDI) as the basis to the training and are intended to provide an opportunity for Aboriginal Communities in Canada to learn how to increase their use of geomatics technologies and gain knowledge of CGDI principles in order to improve their land, environmental, and infrastructure management regimes.
